It's almost summer break for "Abbott Elementary."
Season 3 of the Emmy-winning sitcom will conclude following 14 episodes of frenzied teacher antics and enthralling romance.
In Wednesday's finale, Janine (Quinta Brunson) throws a party to celebrate the end of the school year. She hosts her friends and colleagues from Abbott and her former school district job, trying to make them all happy.
The 14-episode season was cut short from the previous season's 22 episodes due to the dual writer and actors strikes that halted television production last year. Season 2 of the series landed the series a second best comedy nomination and a lead comedy actress win for Brunson at last year's Emmy Awards.

'Abbott Elementary' episode 13 recap
In last week's episode of "Abbott Elementary," Jacob's (Chris Perfetti) park fieldtrip comes to fruition.
Greggory (Tyler James Williams) plans to profess his feelings to Janine but is derailed after seeing a text from Manny (Josh Segarra) asking her out to dinner. The pair's will-they-or-won't-they romance also faced another major hurdle when Mr. Morton (Jerry Minor) expressed his belief that dating a fellow teacher is a bad idea as he endures a hostile divorce.
Meanwhile, Barbara (Sheryl Lee Ralph), Melissa (Lisa Ann Walter) and Ava (Janelle James) find themselves at a war against staff at a rival elementary school. The teachers decide to settle the dispute with a relay competition race, which Abbott wins.
Meanwhile on the Abbott campus, Mr. Johnson discovers and uses Ava's secret swanky restroom after bypassing its secret code "6969."
